What is a SBMS Scholarship?


SBMS Scholarship, also called ePass, is offered by the Andhra Pradesh Government to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Backward Class, Disabled, and Economically Backward Class students studying post matriculation courses. It enables eligible students to complete their education. SBMS Scholarship provides Reimbursement of tuition costs in complete, Upkeep charges or Mass charge according to rates, and is sanctioned twice a year. Courses are grouped in 4 sections, each with its personal prices for Attached Hostel, Students Managed, and Hostel Day Scholars. The Maintenance charges or Mess charges are sanctioned monthly as outlined by the prices. Group I courses are Engineering, Medicine, MBA, MCA, CPL which has the highest prices. Group II include things like PG, M Phil, PhD, CA, Polytechnic, GNM courses. Group III covers Degree courses while Group IV consists of Intermediate, ITI, Vocational, MPHW courses.
